Carrie Love worked at Western Massachusetts Legal Services for one year before the program joined with Legal Assistance Corporation of Central Massachusetts to form Community Legal Aid in 2011. Carrie works as a staff attorney at Community Legal Aid in the Immigration Unit. Carrie, who is proficient in Spanish, represents immigrant survivors of domestic violence in immigration proceedings and does outreach to migrant farmworkers. During law school, Carrie was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar and won the Bernstein Litowitz Berger & Grossman Fellowship. She served as an Editor of the Columbia Human Rights Law Review and as an Executive Board Member of the Society for Immigrant and Refugee Rights. Carrie has also worked as a Legal Intern for the New York Legal Aid Society, the Northern Manhattan Coalition for Immigrant Rights, and the Refugee and Immigration Services Unit of Catholic Charities.
