Sarah Loy worked at Legal Assistance Corporation of Central Massachusetts for over 5 years before the program joined with Western Massachusetts Legal Services to form Community Legal Aid in 2011. Sarah is respoinsible for coordinating CLA's external communications and assisting with CLA's fundraising work. She also works closely with the Executive Director and the rest of the management team to ensure the successful completion of special projects such as mapping CLA's service area to determine how and where CLA's clients face barriers to social and economic justice. She also serves as the liaison to the CLA Board of Directors. Sarah is an active member of the Worcester community, serving as President of the Worcester County chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union and as a Board member of Dismas House, a nonprofit in Worcester that provides transitional housing and services to former prisoners to work towards the goal of reintegration into society.
