Paul Schack worked at Western Massachusetts Legal Services (WMLS) for over 17 years before the program joined with Legal Assistance Corporation of Central Mass. to form Community Legal Aid in 2011. He has also been in private practice, representing clients in criminal defense, family law, landlord/tenant matters, and consumer law. Paul began his legal career in 1984 at North Shore Community Action Programs administering one of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s local consumer protection programs. Paul’s areas of expertise include eviction defense and public and subsidized housing admissions cases. Paul also has experience in public benefits and unemployment cases. Paul has extensive litigation experience, including appeals in the Massachusetts Appeals Court and Supreme Judicial Court. Paul has conducted legal clinics and has provided training for volunteers and community education for agencies and client groups. Paul served on the Housing Court Committee of the Supreme Judicial Court’s Access to Justice Commission. Paul is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and the U.S. District of Massachusetts.
