Compensation and Benefits

CLA provides a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package. The starting salary for attorneys is $71,500, which is based on a union scale and adjusted upward depending on experience. Our benefits package includes low cost health, dental insurance for individuals and families; employer-paid vision insurance for individuals and families; 401(k) with employer-paid contributions; short-term and low-cost long-term disability insurance; life insurance of $50,000 (with the option to increase at reasonable rates); malpractice insurance; employer-paid pre-tax commuter plan; and relocation stipend.

Although we work hard, we realize the importance of personal time away from the office and offer generous leave benefits, including 4 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days, 12 sick days, 13 holidays, and parental leave for the birth or adoption of a child. We also have a hybrid work environment and staff is expected to work in the office at least three days per week.
